Little Lions Learning Center
Our Staff
The staff at Little Lions will strive to provide the best educational experience possible for your child. All staff at Little Lions have been background checked and fingerprinted to ensure that we only employ people that are the best fit for our classrooms. Each staff member undergoes annual background checks as long as they are still employed with the center. We encourage all parents to communicate with our staff about their child and offer different communication tools that make the exchange of information as easy as possible. All staff have been CPR/First Aid certified and must be re-certified every 2 years. The staff at Little Lions are required per State Minimum Standards to obtain at least 24 hours of training each year and each director or member of management must receive at least 30 hours.
Meet the Cub Care Team
Ms. Amber
Ms. Amber is the owner/director of Little Lions Learning Center. She brings 20+ years of experience in the childcare industry. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Intervention and specializes in children with learning and developmental delays.
She has been married to her husband, Frank, for over 15 years and they have 3 boys that keep them very busy. They have 2 dogs, Hemi and Bentlee, 3 Sulcata Tortoises, chickens and ducks. Ms. Amber loves to read in her spare time and averages between 2 and 3 books a month. She loves to craft as well. We love Ms. Amber and couldn't do this without her!!
Miss Maile
Miss Maile is currently the 2nd Director of Little Lions Learning Center. She has 3 years of experience in childcare with us and brings lots of joy to the center. She is very excited to be a part of our team. She has 3 children and 1 dog. She enjoys sleeping in her spare time. Miss Maile is a huge asset to our center, and we love having her with us!
Miss Alexis
Miss Alexis has been with Little Lions Learning Center for over 4 years. She is currently the infant room teacher but has been in all the classrooms over the years. Miss Alexis has one daughter and enjoys spending time with her. She loves the beach and getting her nails done. Miss Alexis is loved by everyone and huge part of our team!
Miss. Koda
Miss Koda has over a year of experience in childcare and has been with Little Lions Learning Center for most of that year. She is currently the Prep (3's) teacher. She does not have any kids or animals and enjoys spending time with family and relaxing in her free time. We love Miss Koda and you will too!
Mrs. Danyel
Mrs. Danyel has recently come back to Little Lions Learning Center after 2 years of service previously. We are happy to have her back. She is married to her husband, Dustin and they have 3 children, 1 dog, and 2 cats. She enjoys decorating and painting in her spare time. We love having her back and glad she is apart of our team!
Miss Yina
Miss Yina has over 1 year of service with Little Lions Learning Center. She is currently the Toddlers 2A teacher. Yina is very compassionate about teaching the little ones Spanish. Yina has 1 dog and 1 cat and enjoys painting and drawing in her free time. She also loves spending time at home! We love having Miss Yina on our team!
Mrs. Kay
Mrs. Kay works in the infant room helping to rock the babies and giving them lots of love. She has been with Little Lions Learning Center for a few months now and we are thrilled to have her. She is a huge part of the success of our infant room. Mrs. Kay has 4 kids, 10 grandkids, and enjoys spending time with them and her family in her extra time. We are so glad to have her on our team!
